Scrabble GO boards are solved against your choice of TWL or Collins, so the words you get back are the words your game will accept.

Why the dictionary matters in Scrabble GO

TWL and Collins disagree about thousands of words, and picking the wrong one is how you end up with a rejected play in a game you were winning.

What you get back

Not a single suggestion — the whole list of playable words, sorted by score, each one drawn onto the board where it would go. That matters more than it sounds: the highest-scoring play is often the one that opens a triple word for your opponent, and you can only judge that by seeing where the word lands.

Blank tiles, double and triple letters, double and triple words are all scored the way Scrabble GO scores them, so the number next to a word is the number you will actually get.

If a tile is read wrong

Tap the square and set it right — the rack too — then solve again. Recognition is good on a clean, unobstructed screenshot, but a banner sitting over the board or a partially cropped grid will cost it a tile, and correcting one is faster than retaking the shot.

Stop staring at the rack.
